Audio: Jack Magma 'Cat Gotcha Tongue?!?'

jackmagma catgotcha

To say Cat Got Your Tongue is unique and/or original would be an understatement. Imagine what the outcome would be if Zap and Teddy Riley where wrapped into one artist. Can you picture that? Even so, it still doesn't fully define Cat Got Your Tonguee's overall sound. This Experimental, R&B, Pop infused track is the first off Jack Magma's debut EP. The project, An Electric Purple, will drop sometime at the beginning 2013. We're not sure what to expect next, but we are very eager to see.

Chairlift has released an EP of demo recordings from their highly acclaimed sophomore album, Something, which debuted in January of this year. Though no new tracks were added as a bonus, we were particularly impressed with the fullness of the production and Caroline Polachek's vocals as they offer an alternative interpretation of the original cuts.

Review: Rihanna 'Unapologetic'

rihanna unapologetic

Rihanna is an artist we cant help but watch. In the past seven years she has released seven albums, definitely all different. We have watched her go from girl next door in the shadows of bigger Pop artists of her time to girl gone bad to girl gone wild to girl going WHEREVER she wants!!!!! Honestly, Unapologetic is a perfect title for this release, but mainly because it captures her way of life and there is nothing we like more than an honest artist.

There is always interesting chatter around new releases from newer artists...Lana Del Rey doesn't escape that trend. Born to Die, The Paradise Edition is definitely an interesting piece of work and one that I thoroughly enjoy. Obviously Lana isn't reinventing the wheel, but may have reinvented a bit of herself.
