Chicago emcee, St. Millie, is quickly making a name for himself with his debut mixtape No Religion But Up. The project is an intimate narrative of the artist's past experiences, current reflections, and future dreams. The first track, Something Good produced by The Gift, starts off by as asking. "Who Is St. Millie?" Millie then proceeds to take listeners on a lyrical journey to answer this question.
Yours Truly caught up with the R&B crooner at San Francisco's Different Fur's Studios and captured what could only be described as magic while Miguel effortlessly took command of the microphone to deliver a passionately intense performance.
The Weekend recently released Trilogy. It consists of fan favorites from his last three mixtapes, and a couple of new treats. The project should serve as a great introduction to his newer audience stemming from the commercial success of his collaboration with Drake to his work, as well as, a delight to music lovers that have been following him over the past few years.
We knew there would be a remix, but never expected two. The internet went crazy when it was announced that Kanye West jumped on the remix for Rihanna's Diamonds from her upcoming Unapologetic album.
We also found that N.O.R.E. and Dj Ted Smooth collaborated on another remix.
From Big Boi's forthcoming album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, Lines gives us a glimpse of what to expect. This collaboration featuring A$AP Rocky and Phanthogram has us on the ends of our seats awaiting the official December 11th release.
